Goa Federation of Mines Affected People (GOAMAP) will observe December 19 2009 as a day of condemnation of Colonial Mining plunder of Goa. It will spread message to the public that although Goa formally got liberation from colonial rule way back in 1961 the fundamental economic structure of mining trade remains colonial in nature even after 48 years.
